About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Bending Machine Operator with strong knowledge of CNC press brake and sheet-metal bending operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC bending machines to manufacture components accurately according to engineering drawings and production specifications.

Key Responsibilities

* Set up and operate CNC bending / press brake machines for sheet-metal fabrication.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and bending specifications.
* Select and install the correct punches, dies, and tooling according to job requirements.
* Enter and adjust CNC machine parameters, including bend angle, bend sequence, material thickness, and dimensions.
* Perform accurate bending and forming of components according to specified tolerances.
* Conduct first-piece inspection before starting batch production.
* Measure finished components using vernier calipers, micrometers, angle gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
* Make necessary machine and program adjustments to maintain product quality.
* Identify and correct bending defects, dimensional errors, and machine-related issues.
* Perform routine machine inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
* Maintain production records and report machine faults or quality issues to the supervisor.
* Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
